简介

Ruby Tsui Man Wah was born in Hong Kong and has two older sisters, one older brother and one younger brother. She was an accomplished swimmer who represented Hong Kong in numerous competitions and won many accolades, earning the nickname "Flying Fish". In 1981 she enrolled in the 11th TVB Artiste Training Course, where her classmates included Tony Leung, Francis Ng and Bobby Au-yeung. After graduating in 1982 she signed as a TVB artiste, working as a reporter and host for the programme "Sports World", joining the "Enjoy Yourself Tonight" ensemble, and appearing in drama series. In 1984 she became a member of the Vitality Team with Cheung Siu-fai and Lam Wai-kin, promoting fitness exercises across various districts. In April 1986 she terminated her contract early with TVB and moved to Asia Television (ATV) in September of the same year. In 1991, feeling undervalued at ATV with limited prospects and seeking financial gain, she decided to star in several Category III adult films. Her first was "The Insatiable" directed by Ho Fan, co-starring Lee Chung-ning, in which she performed full nudity scenes; the film grossed over seven million dollars. She gradually faded from the entertainment industry in the mid-to-late 1990s.
