Ting Lok Sze Janice
Biography
Janice Ting Lok Sze, born on 1 May 1988 in Hong Kong, is a Hong Kong actress, artiste, and model. She graduated from The Chinese Christian Church Yenching College and later joined TVB's 23rd Artiste Training Course, graduating in 2009 to become a TVB contracted artiste. Her first role was as "Cheung Fun" in the "Taste Angels" segment of "Beautiful Cooking" (Season 2), and she was the only manager-contracted female artiste in that show who had graduated from TVB's training course. In April 2012, she left TVB for HKTV, with her farewell works including "Country Sweetheart," "Highs and Lows," and "Ruse of Engagement." She departed due to lack of new work after filming "Country Sweetwoman" and not wanting to waste time at a company with many young artistes. During her time at HKTV, she starred in series such as "Brainstorm," "One Bite," "The Queen," and "The Menu." "One Bite," which premiered in December 2014, marked her return to the screen after nearly three years, with her role as Lana, the "Hong Kong girl," gaining audience attention. She left HKTV in August 2014 and returned to TVB in 2017. She also appeared in films including "I Love Hong Kong," "The Fortune Buddies," "Cold War," and "Cold War II," along with various advertisements and variety shows.
