Biography

So Hoi-lam Erena, formerly known as So Ka-lin, was born on 9 February 1997 in Hong Kong and is the only child in her family. She joined the badminton team in primary and secondary school. In 2016, she began her career under the stage name So Tung with Da Ming Entertainment. In 2017, she appeared in the music video for the song "不一定" by singer Leo Leung Ho-lung and participated in the film "鱷魚談", which remained unreleased after filming. After her contract ended around 2019, she suffered from the closure of her Instagram account which had seventy thousand followers, leading her to contemplate suicide. In 2021, she participated in the film "＃PTGF出租女友" under her real name. In 2022, she appeared on ViuTV's programme "晚吹—戀講嘢" and shared her romantic and sexual experiences. On 15 March 2023, she announced her debut in the Japanese adult film industry under the name Erena through FALENO star, becoming the first Hong Kong person to enter this field in Japan and the first foreign actress at that company. Her debut work ranked first in daily AMAZON JAPAN sales, second in FANZA first-half 2023 sales, and fourth in the monthly FANZA actress popularity ranking in April 2023, with total sales exceeding two thousand copies. In 2026, she was arrested on suspicion of promoting gambling after working as a spokesperson for an overseas betting website.
