Biography

Lisa S., whose full name is Lisa Selesner, was born in Monaco in 1978. Her father is of Chinese-French descent, and her mother is an American Jew. Her parents divorced when she was two years old, and she was raised in New York by her stepfather and mother. She was discovered as a model at the age of fourteen. In 2000, she moved to Hong Kong, and since people could not pronounce her last name, she shortened it to "S." for convenience. With her striking appearance, she became highly popular in the Hong Kong fashion industry and became a spokesperson for Citibank, De Beers jewelry, and Olay skincare. She was hailed as "the international model who adds magic to designers' designs." She loves travel and hosted a lifestyle program in Hong Kong. She dated Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody for three years. In 2010, she married Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu in South Africa after an eight-year relationship.
