孫亞莉

简介

Sun Ya-li was born on 1 October 1973 in Shandong Province, China, to an ordinary family. She reportedly graduated from Hainan Island University in 1992. In the 1990s, she moved alone from mainland China to Hong Kong to pursue a career in entertainment, using the stage name "Sun Zuo'er". In 1996, she appeared as a guest actress in the film "甜蜜蜜" alongside Leon Lai. She later traveled to the United Kingdom to study English and computers. She returned to Hong Kong in 1999 to compete in the "Miss Asia Pageant" but withdrew after media published her sensational photos and allegations about cosmetic surgery and nightclub work. In the 2000s, she re-entered the entertainment industry, modelling for adult magazines and appearing in adult films. In 2002, following the suicide of actress Chen Baolian, Sun Ya-li was cast as Chen in the film "絕代艷星寶蓮的一生" due to their resemblance, reenacting Chen's suicide scene. Her artistic activities declined in the mid-2000s. On 6 February 2009, she was found hanged in a room at the Namyang Hotel in Hong Kong, leaving a suicide note; her family stated she had financial difficulties.
