Qi Qi

Biography

Qi Qi (1967-) is a Hong Kong supermodel and actress born in Shanghai in 1967, who moved to Austria with her parents at age 13. Raised in Vienna, she began her modeling career after being discovered by a talent scout during a summer break before university. She gained fame in Europe for her elegant and sophisticated style before relocating to Hong Kong in 1987, where she became widely known through her long-running SK-II skincare advertisements. She also modeled for brands including Omega watches. In 1997 she married Hong Kong actor Simon Yam, with whom she has a daughter born in 2004. Qi Qi appeared in films such as "The Prisoner" and "Loving You," and authored a book titled "Qi Qi's Choice." In 2017 she launched her own jewelry brand QQM.
