Lily Poon Fong Fong is a Hong Kong actress, presenter, voice actress and radio programme host, born in Shanghai in 1962 and moved to Hong Kong at three months old. She lived in various districts including Kwun Tong and Tsim Sha Tsui. Her father and grandfather were jewellery workshop craftsmen, while her mother worked in jewellery sales. She received her primary education at Diocesan Girls' School and completed her secondary education at Diocesan Girls' College. She studied tourism and hotel management at the University of Hawaii, completing the degree in three years instead of five. She later obtained a Master's degree in education with a specialisation in drama education from Dublin University in 2005. She graduated from the 13th TVB Artiste Training Course in 1987. She began her career as a programme host on "Hong Kong Morning" and other programmes, and also participated in "Enjoy Yourself Tonight" from 1987 to 1989. She started her voice acting career in 1987 after being introduced to voice actress Szemei by Lo Wai Lik. She worked as a radio host for many years, excelling in using her voice and expressions. In 2006, she began organising children's theatre driven by her love for children and education, and was invited by radio programme director Wong Nga-man to join the programme "Quiet Feelings". She married radio disc jockey Chan Kwun-ho in 2005 and gave birth to her son in 2006 at the age of 43.
