彭秀慧

Kearen Pang (born 11 February 1975) is a Hong Kong cross-media artist who works as a writer, director, actress, and teacher. She graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and joined the Chung Ying Theatre Company as a full-time actress, performing in multiple stage productions and receiving two nominations for Best Actress at the Hong Kong Drama Awards. In 2008, she won Best Actress (Comedy/Farce) at the Hong Kong Drama Awards for her second one-woman show *再見不再見*. She was selected as one of the "Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong" in 2014. In 2017, she won Best Director (Foreign Language Feature Film) at the Nice International Film Festival. Her first feature film as director, *29+1*, earned her the Best New Director award at the 37th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2018. Her second film, *阿媽有咗第二個*, released in summer 2022, grossed nearly HK$43 million, ranking 3rd among the top-grossing Hong Kong films of 2022 and 29th on the all-time Hong Kong Chinese-language film box office chart.
