简介

Ng Wai-shan is a Hong Kong actress born on 17 September 1977. She graduated in 1989 from SKH St. Clement Primary School (PM session). She began her entertainment career in 1994 after signing with Shaw Brothers and appearing in the film "Four Suicidal Girls," then graduated from TVB's 8th Artiste Training Course in 1995. Throughout her career, she mostly played minor roles such as maids, prostitutes, and stepmothers, rarely receiving supporting roles. Despite many suggestions to adopt a sexier image for better career prospects, she chose to stay in her usual path due to lack of confidence in her figure. In 2011, her income was significantly reduced due to the change of TVB's ownership, prompting her to end her 16-year relationship with the company and move into behind-the-scenes production. In 2012, she joined Hong Kong Television Network and appeared in several series. In 2016, she drew attention for her appearance in the horror film "Toddler's Grudge" with her sexy look. She returned to TVB in 2020 to film "Sinister Beings." In 2026, she announced her complete retirement from the entertainment industry due to her father's illness and passing.
