Hoyan Mok is a beauty pageant titleholder who won the Miss Hong Kong pageant in 1993. She attended St. Francis Canossia College and emigrated to Switzerland with her family during her teens, where she completed her university education before returning to Hong Kong to participate in the Miss Hong Kong pageant. Prior to her pageant participation, she worked as a biological research assistant. According to media reports, she won the title thanks to a decisive vote from judge Jackie Chan, who was impressed by her high educational level. She began a relationship with famous actor Alex Fong in 1996, and they married in 2008 after 12 years of dating, having one daughter named Fu Ka Ching born on June 9, 2008 at Canossa Hospital in Hong Kong. After giving birth to her daughter, Hoyan Mok changed her personality and sought to do meaningful work, joining the Wai Yin Yat Tsi charitable organization in 2009 and serving as its president from 2009 to 2010. In recent years, she has organized charitable study tours such as "TES 2015 Switzerland" to help underprivileged students broaden their horizons.
