Lo Lin, known as Candy Lo, is a Hong Kong actress and entertainer born on 24 August 1966 in British Hong Kong. She studied at St. Paul's School and, after secondary school, completed a one-year secretarial course. Before entering the entertainment industry, she worked as a flight attendant at Cathay Pacific for six years, during which she was also a part-time model and appeared on the variety show "Hui Loeng Gam Sing" in 1987. In 1991, she competed in the Miss Asia Pageant and won the title. After her victory, she began acting in several TV drama series on ATV. She later moved to TVB, where she became widely popular for her role in the drama "Ching Ching" (真情). In 1996, she married wealthy businessman Lau Kwun Ming and stepped away from the entertainment industry, giving birth to three sons. In recent years, she has reduced her on-screen appearances and focused on her own management company, though she has participated in films such as "真的戀愛了？" and "愛．尋．迷". In 2015, she released her first photo book titled "Timeless". In 2017, she returned to TVB as a free agent to film the drama "宮心計2深宮計". In 2018, she revealed in an interview that all three of her sons are interested in entertainment careers, and she signed with Shaw Brothers.
