Biography

Joey Leung Chiu-yi is a Hong Kong actress and television host, born on September 12, 1996. She began her artistic career at a young age in 2002 when she appeared as a child in the famous Hong Kong film "Infernal Affairs," playing the daughter of the protagonist portrayed by Tony Leung. She was educated at Christian Alliance Cheng Wing Gee Secondary School in Hong Kong, then moved with her family to Chicago, USA, where she studied marketing at Northern Illinois University. After graduation, she worked in software recruitment administration at Facebook's Los Angeles office in California. She participated in the World Chinese Business Ambassador Competition in Chicago in 2017, winning second place, and later competed in the Chicago Chinese Chamber of Commerce Beauty Pageant in 2019. In 2022, she participated in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant and made history by winning third place along with four awards: "Most Photogenic," "Audience Favorite," and "Best Eloquence," becoming the first tattooed contestant to place in the top three. After the pageant, she signed a management contract with TVB and entered the entertainment industry. In 2023, she began participating in various TVB variety programs and hosted several shows. In October 2024, she appeared in the drama series "Darkside of the Moon," which aired on Youku.
