Biography
Kiko Leung Yan is a Hong Kong actress and program host born on December 31, 1993. She grew up in a family with her parents and a younger brother, with her father working in construction and her mother working as a household helper and acupressure therapist, residing in Changsheng Yuan in Fanling. She graduated from Fanling Government Secondary School in 2012, where she participated in the drama club for three years and junior police activities for four years, and won the "Best News Commentary" award in a secondary school competition. Before entering the entertainment industry, she worked as a model but decided to prove herself through acting rather than appearance alone, enrolling in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to study for an Honours Bachelor's degree in Acting. During her studies, she caught the attention of TVB and chose to abandon her degree to join the 26th TVB Artiste Training Course, becoming a contracted actress with the network. She rose to prominence in 2016 through her role as a yoga center staff member in the sitcom "Come Home Love," and gained further recognition in 2017 with her role in "Come Home Love: Lo and Behold." In 2019, she partnered to open a fitness studio with a Chinese entertainment company executive and a fitness trainer. In 2021, she landed her first leading film role in "Queen of Swimsuit," and in October of the same year, she decided to leave TVB due to dissatisfaction with its contract system and internal favoritism culture.
