简介

Lam Chin Ting, originally named Lam Ting, is a Hong Kong model, program host, and actress, currently an artist under One Cool Group. She grew up living with her family in Hung Hom and attended Kowloon True Light School and Ming Tak College of Liberal Arts between 2005 and 2015. She became a model under Starz People, mainly filming TV and print advertisements, and gained fame as one of the three members of the "Fourth Generation Bonmin Girls" from 2015 to 2018. In 2017, her modeling agency suggested she try more on-screen work, and she was invited by a ViuTV producer to shoot a program about working holidays, requiring her to stay in Taiwan for half a year. However, as the filming schedule was too long and conflicted with other work commitments, she was invited to host another TV program "The Door Knockers," which turned her into a formal artist. She initially thought it was a travel show, and with no script or background information, she had to improvise, resulting in average audience reception and criticism. In 2018, she continued hosting "The Door Knockers 2" for ViuTV, and with changes in production format, the program improved and she received praise for her progress. In 2019, she filmed her first TV drama "The Republic," fulfilling her childhood dream and discovering her love for acting, leading her to pursue a career in performing arts. That same year, she joined Donnie Yen's One Cool Group and began taking drama classes, studying alongside Angela Yuen, Kyle Lam, and Sabrina Cheung under Cheung Kai Chung. In 2021, she filmed her first movie "Beyond Evil," playing a girl with polio, and also filmed the autobiographical movie "Our 18 Years," portraying the young version of Irene Wan. In late September, a day before her birthday, she abandoned her former stage name "Lam Ting" and adopted the new name "Lam Chin Ting," as a two-character name was considered unfavorable for health, and each character represents different fortunes, so following a feng shui master's advice, she added the character "Chin" to compensate for the lack of the metal element in her destiny.
