Suki Kwan is a Hong Kong actress born on March 11, 1966. She grew up in a housing estate in Kowloon with seven siblings, and her mother was a vegetable vendor. She worked as a dance instructor for four years before entering the entertainment industry and traveled to Hawaii for several months to obtain a teaching certification. She entered acting in 1987 through the Miss Hong Kong Pageant but did not place in the finals. After the pageant, she signed with TVB as an actress and remained with the network until 1993, appearing in several TV series and variety shows. She later transitioned to film after leaving TVB. She faced career difficulties and a legal incident in 2002 involving a drunk driving accident. She retired from entertainment in 2005 to change her lifestyle but returned to activity in 2024. She married actor Lee Wai Sheung in 2005 and they divorced in 2021.
