Isabella Kau Hung Ping, born on 26 September 1961 in Wah Fu Estate, Hong Kong Island, is a Hong Kong professional model and host who was the second runner-up in the 1982 Miss Hong Kong Pageant. She studied at Kwai Yuet Church Kei Yut Primary School, North Point Lutheran Secondary School, and completed her matriculation at St. John's Co-ed English College. After graduation, she worked as a clerk in an import-export trading company before becoming a model in August 1981. In 1982, she was nominated by her mother to compete in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant, reportedly working as a part-time model at the time. After winning, she signed with TVB and worked in front of the camera for several years before leaving the entertainment industry. She appeared in several TV dramas, including "The Return of the Condor Heroes" (1983) as He Yuanjun, "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber" (1986) as Fifth Aunt, and "The Grand Canal" (1987) as Consort Xiao, as well as the film "Home at Hong Kong" as Ah Hung. She also hosted programs such as "Women's New Image" and "Enjoy Yourself Tonight". Kau has been married twice: in 1987 she married Tang Kai-wah, son of the "Machinery King of the 70s" Chuen Chuen, with whom she had two daughters; they divorced in 1992. In 2003, she married Leung Ting-cheung in the UK. In 2003, she founded the skincare brand "ISAWORKSHOP" and served as a Senior Branch Manager at Manulife Financial. She also co-founded Techwise Limited with her two daughters. In 2022, Kau was convicted of 11 counts of wilfully evading taxes and sentenced to 9 months in prison on 29 July 2022, being released early in January the following year.
