Biography

Han Jun Ting is a Hong Kong actress and television host, born on 28 September 1975 in Hong Kong, of mixed British and Chinese heritage, and raised in Singapore. She graduated from Changkat Changi Secondary School in Singapore in 1992 and later completed her bachelor's degree at Nanyang Technological University in 1996. She began her career after appearing in the "City Surprise" segment of Yes! magazine, then participated in the 1997 Miss Asia Pageant where she placed second. The original winner, Zhu Yan Zhen, was stripped of the title for concealing her marital status, and Han was elevated to first place as the replacement. She joined TVB in 2001, then returned to ATV in 2006 after filming the TVB series "窈窕熟女". After ATV ceased drama production in 2008, she was limited to hosting some variety programs, but low ratings led to a decline in her popularity and reduced television appearances. In late 2010, she temporarily withdrew from Hong Kong's entertainment industry and moved to Singapore to help her brother with his business and work in an office job. In 2014, she slipped in the bathroom and fractured her nose bone, then officially returned to Hong Kong and resumed her entertainment career. In 2021, she accepted an invitation from her friend artist Liang Si Hao to host the program "大家「真」瘋騷" on his YouTube channel "大家真瘋Show". She once suffered from severe obesity, during which Hong Kong media gave her nicknames like "Lo Ba" and "Ju Dun", then she became a spokesperson for a slimming company and slimmed down to just over 80 pounds. Later, after emotional setbacks, she developed anorexia but has since recovered and is currently in a relationship with Lin Qing Tai, the ex-boyfriend of Sit Ming Ming.
