Bonnie Fu, born in 1961, is a former Hong Kong actress. She grew up in a large family with eight siblings. After finishing secondary school at age 16, she competed fiercely and was admitted to the 10th TVB artist training class, where she received training in acting, singing, singing, dance, Chinese opera, dubbing, directing, and scriptwriting. After one year, she graduated and became a TVB actress. She married the brother of writer Yan Yinan in her early years and had a daughter, but the marriage lasted only a few years. She later moved to ATV and was active in the film industry in the early 1990s, excelling in portraying charming women. She retired from the entertainment industry in the mid-1990s and worked at Zurich Insurance. She later co-founded The Chinese Academy with her current husband, martial arts practitioner Andrew Ho, teaching martial arts, calligraphy, painting, dance, and fine arts.
