Jennifer Tse Ting-ting was born in Hong Kong in 1982, the daughter of Hong Kong actor Tse Yin and actress Debola, and the sister of actor Nicholas Tse. In 1983, she was named goddaughter of Hong Kong actress Wang Ming-quan. She moved with her family to Canada, where she graduated from the University of British Columbia, and returned to Hong Kong in 2005. That same year, she was appointed as a Youth Cultural Ambassador by the Chinese Cultural Centre in Vancouver to promote Vancouver's culture. She began her career as an actress and model in Hong Kong in 2009 with her role in a Bruce Lee film. On a personal note, she announced her relationship with actor Andy On in 2009, which ended in 2013. She later dated Sean Lee-Davies for a year. In 2019, she announced the birth of a daughter without revealing the father's identity. In 2026, she announced her marriage to her foreign husband Matthew, the North America retail director of a major furniture chain, and that they have a son named Brooklyn Milne.
