Queenie Chu Wai Man is a Hong Kong actress and artist, born in Hong Kong on April 22, 1981. She attended Rose Hill School in Hong Kong and later studied at the University of Washington in Seattle, majoring in journalism with a minor in politics. She interned at ATV News. In 2004, she competed in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant and won first runner-up and the Tourism Ambassador Award. She then represented Hong Kong at the 2005 Miss International pageant, winning the Miss Friendship award. She is the only former journalist among the top three Miss Hong Kong finalists. In 2012, she starred as the main character Yin Deru in the sitcom "Love Returning Home," earning praise for her improved acting. She also hosted several television programs. In 2021, she married cardiologist Dr. Chen Lianggui at The Peninsula Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, with only 20 guests due to COVID-19. She also became a certified clinical hypnotherapist after studying in the United States for one and a half years.
