Angel Chiang Ka Man was born on 10 November 1989 in Shenzhen, Guangdong, and is the only child of her family. She moved to Hong Kong with her family at age six. Her father worked in logistics and her mother was a career woman. She graduated from Chai Wan Kok Catholic Primary School and Yanji Hospital Lam Bai Yan Secondary School. In 2006, she participated in TVB's "TVbeople" talent selection program and was chosen, becoming the only female among eight selected candidates, which launched her acting career. In 2012, she gained audience attention through her roles in the drama "Come Home Love" and the anniversary series "The Confidant". In 2013, she starred in her first leading film role in "First Time Not You" and was nominated for Best New Performer at the Hong Kong Film Awards. In 2020, she won the Most Improved Female Artiste award at the TVB Anniversary Awards for her role in "Al Cappuccino". In 2022, she won the Best Supporting Actress award at the same ceremony for her role in "The Beauty of War". In September 2024, she married television executive Zhou Yongji in Karuizawa, Japan.
