Biography

Bowie Cheung Po Yee is a Hong Kong actress and television host, born on October 10, 1991. She comes from a wealthy family; her father, Cheung Wong Wong, is in the underwear business and owns multiple properties in Hong Kong's Leighton Hill area. She is the eldest daughter in her family, with a sister named Cheung Po Yan and a brother named Cheung Pak Sum. She attended St. Paul's Co-educational School and later studied at Concord College in western England, where she achieved excellent grades in British examinations. She studied human geography at University College London between 2011 and 2014, and also received education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, she worked as a digital project manager at an advertising company and then as a product development manager at Lee Kum Kee Health Products Group. In 2016, she was nominated by her sister for the Miss Hong Kong Pageant and won the "Miss Friendship" award. She joined TVB that same year and completed a three-month acting training course. In 2017, she became a host on the informational program "Sidewalk Scientist." In 2021, she received her first nominations for "Best Supporting Actress" and "Most Popular Female TV Character" for her role in "A Child with Stars." She married actor Yuan Wai Ho, the winner of Mr. Hong Kong 2007, and had two sons in 2023 and 2025.
