陳喜蓮

Chen Xilian is a Chinese actress from Hong Kong, born on August 28, 1953. She was part of the first cohort at the Television and Film Actor Training Center jointly established by Shaw Brothers and Television Broadcasts Limited in 1971-1972. She participated in numerous television dramas and co-starred with actor Chow Yun-fat in the Hong Kong film "Wave of Desire and Love," playing his wife. She married her fiancé in London on March 24, 1980, and retired from the entertainment industry after marriage. In January 1982, she lost her three-month-old son due to a congenital heart condition. She returned to work in 1986, joining Asia Television to host the women's program "Afternoon Tea."
