简介

Chen Xiao Jing was born in Guangzhou, China in 1983 and grew up in Canada. She comes from a prominent family; her grandfather Chen Pei was a pioneer in importing French yeast to China and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the State Council. She returned to Hong Kong in 2007 and participated in the Miss Asia Pageant organized by ATV, reaching the top 12 in the Hong Kong and Macau region. She subsequently joined ATV as a contracted artiste. She served as public relations for Ren Mei Qing Xu, deputy secretary-general and image ambassador for the Asia Club, and as a board director of the Hong Kong Youth Federation. In 2010, her contract with ATV was terminated following a dispute over a television programme, but she returned six months later under a new contract and participated in the programme "Finding the People's Family." Over the next four years, she hosted multiple programmes including Weibo Tian Xia and Star Moving Asia, most notably serving as the master of ceremonies for ATV's protest against the government's decision to issue new broadcast licences, which was live-broadcast and watched by approximately 700,000 viewers. In 2015, ATV suspended her due to her remarks about salaries, and her contract was formally terminated amid the network's worsening financial crisis. After leaving ATV, she continued her artistic career and joined her family's business at Li De Unified Foods, where she served as PR and marketing director for Jie Rong China's coffee and bakery products. In 2016, she entered the restaurant industry with a major investment to open a German restaurant named "Schnee" in Causeway Bay and Shau Kei Wan in Hong Kong, participated in major food exhibitions, and became an agent for several German craft beer brands.
