許卿卿

简介

Xu Qingqing was a Hong Kong Cantonese-language film actress and Cantonese opera performer. She initially trained under Xue Juexian, and after his passing, she became a disciple of Yu Lizhen, remaining by her side throughout her career. She formed a sworn sisterhood with eight other second-tier female Cantonese opera performers—Li Xiangqin, Ren Binger, Liang Suqin, Kun Lian, Jin Yinglian, Zhu Rihong, Ying Lili, and Tan Qianhong—collectively known as the "Nine Elder Sisters." Xu Qingqing had a remarkably versatile acting repertoire, excelling in roles ranging from second-tier female leads to comedic female characters, as well as cross-gender comedic male roles and martial male roles.
