In August 1965, she delivered a remarkable performance of the famous Peking opera "Happy Forest" by Gai Jiao Tian, excelling in the drunken boxing technique. In October 1965, she participated in the school's third public performance, playing the lead role in "Splitting the Coffin," where she demonstrated stunning martial arts skills during the coffin-splitting and capturing Tian Shi scenes. In addition to her opera career, she appeared in several Cantonese and Mandarin films starting from 1962.
