Yao Anna (Yao Siwei), known in English as Annabel Yao, is a Chinese singer and film/television actress. She was born on January 14, 1998, in Kunming, Yunnan, China, and her family originates from Zhejiang province. She is the youngest daughter of Ren Zhengfei, CEO of Huawei, and his second wife Yao Ling, taking her mother's surname. She moved with her parents to Shenzhen at eight months old. From a young age, she learned piano, calligraphy, music, and traditional Chinese painting, and began studying ballet at age nine. She attended Harvard University starting in 2016 and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
