Maang Lee was a Hong Kong film actress active in the 1960s, whose real name was Wang Lili. Born in Madrid to a Republic of China father and a Spanish mother, she emigrated to Taiwan in 1950. She had trained in ballet and Spanish dance, and in 1964 became a student of Madam Maria, one of the world's top three belly dancers, later teaching dance herself. She starred in The Young Dragons (1967), directed by Lung Gang, performing sensual dance scenes that brought her fame. With her excellent dance skills, she replaced Dina in the role of a stripper in Naked Blood (1968), entering the Mandarin-language film scene. Known for her figure and willingness for sensual performances, her film roles increased. Maang Lee retired from entertainment in 1974 and returned to settle in Taiwan.
