Biography

Elaine Lee is a Hong Kong artiste of Ningbo ancestry. She is currently studying a film directing course in the United States. Her father is Lee Tak-lin, CEO of the restaurant chain Poa Wong Chi Wong, and her mother is Lin Chen-chi, a retired actress. The media nicknamed her "Poa girl" due to her father's restaurant business. Elaine Lee studied a film directing course in Los Angeles, USA. During her studies, she would return to Hong Kong during holidays and work as a part-time model after signing with the talent agency Elite, and was also active in social events. Her boyfriend at the time was a German man named Nicolaus. She was engaged to a doctor named Steve and had set their wedding date for November 7, 2018, at the InterContinental Hotel, where they planned sixty tables for guests. In a press interview, she stated that she had only booked the venue but had not yet decided on the registration, wedding dress, or other important attire. Known for being frugal, she decided to rent rather than buy her wedding dress, stating she did not want to keep such a memory in her wardrobe. She also admitted she prefers artificial things and is not materialistic, and therefore requested to purchase her wedding ring online.
