简介

Shan Xin, born on January 1, 1989, comes from a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners in Zhengzhou. She loved Japanese anime from childhood, and the first anime she watched was Fist of the North Star. Her passion for voice acting was sparked by voice actor Katsuyuki Yamaguchi's performance as the protagonist in Detective Conan, and she began practicing recording in third grade using a tape recorder. She joined the Shengchuang Alliance voice acting group around 2004, and her first commercial work may have been the 2005 drama "1 Litre of Tears." She began her professional voice acting career in the summer of 2008 by voicing multiple characters in the Keroro Gunsō theatrical film. In 2012, she became the first Chinese person to enter the VOCALOID family by providing the voice source for Luo Tianyi in Yamaha's VOCALOID 3. After graduating from Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, she moved to Beijing to pursue her career, initially working in children's book illustration before fully dedicating herself to voice acting in animation, film, and television. In May 2016, she announced her marriage to fellow voice actor Huang Zhenji. In July 2026, she announced their divorce, stating they would return to being close friends and partners, noting it would not affect their jointly founded company, Beidou Penguin Studio.
