简介

Cao Yunjin (born Cao Jin on January 26, 1986) is a Chinese xiangsheng (comic dialogue) performer from Tianjin. He began his career in 2000 after receiving early guidance from xiangsheng artist Tian Lihe, and at the end of 2001 he moved to Beijing to become a disciple of Guo Degang and learn xiangsheng performance from him. Cao lived in harsh conditions in his early days, residing in Beijing basements where he suffered from severe humidity and skin diseases. He was a prominent member of the famous Deyun Society comedy troupe before announcing his departure from it in 2010. He participated in various artistic works including the film "San Xiao Cai Zi Jia Ren," the TV series "Dou Tian Bao Chuan Qi," and the program "Yi Bai Wan Meng Xiang" on Qinghai TV. He authored a book titled "Jin Sheng Jin Shi" and signed copies before hundreds of fans. In 2013, he performed a xiangsheng piece titled "This Is Not My Fault" at the CCTV Chinese New Year Gala. In 2016, Guo Degang officially expelled him from the lineage and revoked his stage name, leading to a heated public dispute between them. Cao Yunjin is renowned for classic xiangsheng performances such as "Shuang Shang" and "Da Bao Jiao" and "Tai Ping Ge Chang" songs like "Wu Long Feng Sheng." In 2018, he stated he would devote more attention to artistic fields other than xiangsheng.
