Huang Qiuyan

Biography

Huang Qiuyan is an American actress of Chinese descent, born in Beijing in 1961. She graduated from the Beijing Shishahai Sports School and began learning martial arts at the age of 11. She is the senior schoolmate of the famous action star Li Lianjie, and the two grew up together. She appeared in films such as "Shaolin Kids" (1984) and "North and South Shaolin" (1986). In 1987, she married Li Lianjie without notifying any friends or relatives, and in 1988, while seven months pregnant, she moved with him to the United States, where they had two daughters, Li Si and Li Taimi. The couple divorced in 1990 by agreement, with the two daughters awarded to the mother.
