Tong Chenjie

Biography

Tong Chenjie is a Chinese model and actress born in Shanghai in 1981. She began her professional modeling career in early 2000. She achieved early success in 2001 by placing third at the Shanghai International Model Competition and winning the L'OREAL Style Model Award. She also appeared on the cover of the inaugural issue of VOGUE China. Her acting career began in 2011 with her first film "The Purple House," followed by roles in television and film productions including "决战前," "锦绣缘华丽冒险," "风再起时," "上海女子图鉴," "Police Story 2013," and "繁花." She also hosts a podcast on the Xiaoyuzhou platform titled "Tong Chenjie's Normal Life." On a personal note, she married Xie Hui in 2004, divorced in 2011, and married Wei Wei in 2014.
