简介

Hang Zone D (HZD) is a Hong Kong male singing group formed in February 2024. The group consists of eight members: Gan Yongjie, Liu Weihuang, Liang Haoxian, Liang Sijie, Yan Migao, Tan Huizhi, Wang Jiaming, and director Pan Wenlong. The formation of the group came after several members participated in the TV singing competition "Midlife, Sing & Shine 2" broadcast by TVB in 2023, which aimed to give middle-aged people a chance to pursue their musical dreams. Over 5,000 applicants participated in the selection phase, with 108 qualifying for the main competition. Liang Haoxian, Yan Migao, Liu Weihuang, and Tan Huizhi became friends after being on the same team during the thirty-competitor stage of the show. They were joined by Liang Sijie, who was eliminated in the first round, Gan Yongjie and Wang Jiaming, who were eliminated at the sixty-competitor stage, along with the show's director Pan Wenlong. The group began regular live streaming on Facebook starting February 22, 2024. In July 2024, the group held its first fan meeting, and in November of the same year, four of its members performed the "ZONE D FUNtas4ic Concert" at the MacPherson Stadium. The group sparked some controversy when a judge from the show revealed allegations of favoritism in selecting group members to participate in subsequent charity concerts.
