石山街 (組合)

简介

Rock Hill Street is a Hong Kong duo singer-songwriter group consisting of male member Marstn and female member Yeung Tung, both of whom are independent musicians skilled in playing multiple instruments, composing, and arranging. Marstn began writing music in 2012 and performed regularly at restaurants, bars, and small concerts from 2018. Yeung Tung worked as a producer for singer-songwriter Serrini and co-founded "GTB" with her in 2017, releasing an electronic album titled "大香港精神" the following year. The two members were strangers before meeting through Instagram and exchanging music on the platform. Their first in-person meeting took place on Shek Shan Street (石山街) in Kennedy Town when Marstn needed to borrow music equipment, which inspired the group's name. They began uploading original songs and covers on Instagram, then officially debuted on January 4, 2021 under Universal Music Hong Kong's label Brave Nusic. Their debut single "暗戀家" was released on January 26, 2021, fully produced by the two members, with lyrics conceptually linked to the poem "斷章" by modern Chinese New Moon poet Bian Zhilin. They filmed the music video on Shek Shan Street itself, reenacting their online meeting. In 2024, Yeung Tung moved to the UK to pursue her career, and the group's final releases were the house-style tracks "WAY OUT" and "唯一要求". The group won the Gold Award for Best Newcomer Group at the 2021 Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation, and received the Silver Award for Best Progress and Bronze Award for Best Band/Group at the 95th Anniversary of Broadcasting Chinese Gold Songs Ceremony.
