JFYT

Biography

JFYT is a six-member male music group from Hong Kong, formed in 2024. The group consists of singer Chau Yan Ting (YT) and JFFT YouTube channel members Li Ka Yin (Gai Yik), Chen Yu Lin (Chong Gor), Xia Ding Quan (Mi Ye), Zhang Feng Liang (Leung Siu), and Chen Guang Hong (Ham Ye). In May 2024, Chau Yan Ting announced the formation of the group with JFFT members and released their debut work "Hands Up". The group entered the top five finalists for the Most Popular Group award at the 2024 Ultimate Song Chart Awards, becoming the only new group to make the top five nomination that year. The group features a fictional background setting as a Korean boy band, claiming all members are from Korea, speak Korean and English, and learned Cantonese after coming to Hong Kong. The group aims to become Hong Kong's top boy band and challenges various local musicians and groups such as N9 and FINALLY. The group name is derived from the first two letters of JFFT and Chau Yan Ting's nickname YT.
